Wynter Law Practice

Dionnie Wynter Pfunde is a passionate practitioner of immigration law. For more than two decades, Mrs. Wynter Pfunde has tirelessly served immigrant families. Her passion stems from her own personal immigration story.

Born on the island of Jamaica, she immigrated with her daughter to New York City in 1996. There, Mrs. Wynter Pfunde joined her mother who had moved there a decade before. Her mother’s work helping other families immigrate to the United States soon inspired her own career choice.
Mrs. Wynter Pfunde decided to pursue a law degree in order to specialize in immigration law. She wanted to close the gap in access to qualified legal representation in her own community as well as that of all immigrant communities. She founded the Immigration Law Outreach Project in Pontiac, Michigan. That program helped green card holders become naturalized citizens—all at no cost to the clientele of the program.
